Seasons Greetings and Happy New Year 2011!

2nd Decade of 21st Century Begins

Well it's come to this!

Because of the poor response over the years to the SAP (Save the Parents) Fund , poor Don and Noreen are reduced to living in the laundry room of a single wide trailer in Mesa, Arizona. Not only are we forced to live like this; we must do this until APRIL!!

Noreen's parents provide lots of laughs by repeating statements "as they heard them".... NOT what we said! Most of their action and adventure is related from the DREAMS of the previous night or an afternoon siesta.

Meanwhile, Richard is yucking it up in Lethbridge. He rakes in the dough working at the Cheesecake Cafe and taking classes at the University of Lethbridge. His back seems to be better at the moment with the ablation treatments he had in July to "freeze" that section of his spine. Now as long as he can keep his old car running LIFE IS GOOD!

Alec also is enjoying the "Good Life". He purchased a house in Redcliff and is now a journeyman crane operator. With the little bit of money he had left over after the "big purchase" he thought he needed a puppy!! He GOT a puppy. Aurora is a lovely little border collie. Because of shift work and irregular hours we helped out as "dog sitters". Helping out now means Aurora, our grand daughter dog, now lives in Arizona. She lives in an igloo and makes her own snow by destroying her lovely dog bed and carefully placing the contents all over the back yard.

It is not all doom and gloom. Three emergency relief workers (Richard, Alec and Russell) are making a mercy flight to Mesa over Christmas. Their mission will be to put a little joy back in the season for poor, beleaguered Don and Noreen. Let's hope they are successful.
